Environmental sensor
Koolmesh is compatible with an environmental sensor that accurately monitors PM2.5, TVOC, CO, CO₂, temperature and humidity. Real-time data can be viewed on the app, and thresholds can be set based on monitoring values to link with air conditioners, lights, etc. for intelligent control in the near feature.
To add an environmental sensor to the Koolmesh system, follow these steps:
1.Ensure the environmental sensor is powered on.
2.On the Settings page, click IoT, select "Add Environmental Sensor," and enter the MAC address on the back of the sensor, then click “Confirm”.

3.Bind Area, i.e., the zone where the sensor is installed (e.g., “Hallway”).
4.You will see the MQTT status showing “Not initialized.”
To configure this, access the environmental web interface, complete the required settings.

First, connect your phone, iPad, or PC to the WiFi provided by the environmental sensor.
A stable connection ensures smooth parameter setup. If not, check the WiFi connection.

Enter the Web GUI URL in your browser, input the password, then change the language to English (default is Chinese).

Set the parameters in Network Settings.

Only two items need to be set based on the app information.

Leave other settings as default, click "go back," then configure parameters in MQTT Settings.

There are four items need to be set based on the app information.

Leave other settings as default, click "go back," then save the all settings. If all settings are configured correctly, a prompt will appear stating: “Settings saved successfully. Please wait for the device to restart.”
● ATTENTION!Users need to change the WiFi because the environmental sensor's WiFi has no access to the WLAN.
Wait for a while, when the MQTT status shows online, then you can check the information on the app.

Please refer to the video below for more details on the configuration.
